About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Megan Bragg, owner of Family Centered Nutrition Science.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, nutrition researcher, and mom of two.

I work with moms from pregnancy through early childhood to help feeding feel simpler, less stressful, and more manageable in real life.

My approach

My goal is to give you guidance that’s:

  • Evidence-based (grounded in research, not trends)

  • Practical (something you can actually follow on a busy day)

  • Flexible (because real life isn’t perfect)

I also take a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to nutrition. That means we won’t focus on weight as the primary measure of health, and you won’t be given restrictive or unrealistic rules to follow.

My background

I have a PhD in Nutritional Biology, where I was trained to evaluate and interpret research. I also performed research centered on maternal and child nutrition.

That means when we work together, you’re getting guidance that’s informed by the latest evidence and tailored to your specific situation.

I bring that research background into every session, but in a way that feels clear, approachable, and relevant to your day-to-day life.

And also… I’m a mom

Alongside my professional training, I’m also a mom of two.

I’ve recently been through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the ups and downs of feeding young kids. I know how different things can look outside of a textbook and how important it is to have support that meets you where you are.
