Postpartum mom and infant

Nutrition for Postpartum & Infancy

Feel nourished, supported, and confident after your baby arrives

From breastfeeding nutrition to starting solids, get clear, realistic guidance that actually fits your day-to-day life.

Work 1:1 with a PhD-trained dietitian. Most visits are covered by insurance.

You’re in the right place if…

  • You’re trying to balance your own nutrition while caring for a newborn

  • You’re breastfeeding or pumping and wondering if your diet is “good enough”

  • You’re constantly hungry, depleted, or running on snacks and caffeine

  • You’re not sure what’s normal when it comes to milk supply and nutrition

  • You want guidance on starting solids but feel overwhelmed by all the advice

  • You’re worried your baby isn’t eating enough (or is eating too often)

If you’re feeling stretched thin and second-guessing yourself, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

What I help with

Postpartum is a huge adjustment - for both you and your baby. My goal is to make feeding feel simpler, more manageable, and a lot less stressful.

For you:

  • Eating enough to support energy, healing, and (if applicable) milk production

  • Simple, realistic meal and snack ideas for busy days

  • Navigating hunger, fullness, and changing routines

For your baby:

  • Nutrition-related breastfeeding or formula questions

  • Starting solids with confidence

  • Managing food allergies, like cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA)

Megan Bragg, a prenatal dietitian, PhD in Nutrition, and mom of 2

Why work with me

You deserve advice that’s both trustworthy and doable.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and have a PhD in Nutritional Biology, which means I’m trained to understand and interpret research - not just repeat general guidelines. But more importantly, I translate that science into real-life strategies that work when you’re tired, busy, or feeling sick.

I’m also a mom of two, so I understand how different things can look in real life compared to what’s “on paper.” My goal is to help you find an approach that works for your life.

My approach is:

  • Evidence-based (without being overwhelming)

  • Practical and flexible

  • Non-judgmental and supportive

Using your insurance

Most visits are covered by insurance.

  • I’ll verify your benefits for you before your first visit

  • Many clients pay $0 out of pocket

  • Virtual sessions are available across PA, NJ, and DE

You don’t have to figure this out on your own—I’ll walk you through it.

What it’s like to work together

Getting support is simpler than you might expect:

1. Schedule your appointment
Choose a time that works for you (virtual or in-person)

2. I’ll check your insurance
You’ll know what’s covered before we meet

3. Meet 1:1
We’ll talk through what’s going on and what feels hardest right now

4. Leave with a clear, realistic plan
No rigid meal plans—just guidance you can actually follow

What you can expect

  • More confidence in how you’re feeding both yourself and your baby

  • Less second-guessing (and less late-night Googling)

  • Simple, realistic ideas for meals and snacks—even on busy, unpredictable days

  • Clear guidance that adapts as your baby grows and your needs change

Looking ahead

Starting solids is just the beginning of your child’s feeding journey.

A strong foundation can go a long way in preventing or reducing picky eating - but if challenges do come up in the toddler years, you’ll already have support in place.
